The leaves of Urtica dioica (stinging nettle) have long been highly valued. The leaves of young plants are easily digested and used in soups, teas and rinses.

They are rich in a variety of nutrients: vitamin C, iron, essential amino acids and carbohydrates.

Nettle leaves have also been found to be rich in fatty acids (especially linolenic and linoleic) and carotenoids (the most important of which are: lutein, β-carotene, neoxanthin, violaxanthin and lycopene).

Such an abundance of bioactive substances allows us to say that nettle leaves help to maintain the normal condition of the nails, hair, skin and vitality of the body.
