Bacopa helps maintain normal memory, mental health, cognitive function, nervous system activity and is a tonic for the brain.
Bacopa (Bacopa monnieri) is an edible herbaceous perennial plant that has been associated with central nervous system function and memory improvement in the millennial tradition of Indian Ayurveda. These plants and their extracts have been extensively studied and it has been found that the most important bioactive substances of bacopas are polyphenolic compounds (steroidal saponins called bacopazides).
Bacopa can improve higher cognitive processes that rely heavily on information from the environment, such as learning and memory. Clinical studies have shown that people who have consumed an extract of this plant have improved concentration, learning in pairs and logical memory.
